WELCOME TO COD THAMARASSERY
Centre for Overall Development (COD), is a registered organization under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The organization was registered in the year 1989 by the diocese of Thamarassery for delivering its social ministry. COD initiated its activities with the objective of helping the people in need particularly marginalized vulnerable communities irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. The activities of COD are spread mainly in the two Districts of Kerala; Kozhikode and Malapuram. The operational area of COD is structured in to three Regions and Nineteen Grama Vikasana Samithees

Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil
Bishop Of ThamarasseryAs the eparchy enters its Silver Jubilee it was given a special gift in the form of Bp. Remigiose Inchananiyil as the bishop of the eparchy who belongs to this eparchy. He was born on July 26, 1961 at Vettilappara, in Malappuram district. His parents Inchananiyil Paul and Rosamma were the natives of Palai, who migrated to COD Thamarassery in the year 1959. Bp. Remigiose has six brothers and a sister.

Fr. George Chemparathikkal
Director-CODFr. George chemparathickal is the Director of COD (Centre for Overall Development )Thamarassery.He is from Kalikavu. He was Ordained in 2007 for the Catholic diocese of Thamarassery. He holds post graduate degree in Master of Social Work. Served as assistant vicar at kulathuvayal, Thiruvambady, Mariyapuram and as vicar at Nooramthode, Peruvannamoozhi, Erude, Mylellampara and as director of Viany priest home, Erude.
Rev. Fr. Jaison Karakunnel
Associate Director-CODRev. Fr. Jacob Karakunnel is the Associate Director of COD (Centre for Overall Development). He was born on 16th August 1978 at Kuppayakode. He was ordained priest for the eparchy of Thamarassery on 3rd January 2005. He holds Graduate Degree in Arts, Philosophy and Theology and Post Graduate Degree in Psychology and Social Work.
He served as assistant vicar at Karuvarakundu Holy Family Church, Thottumukkom St.Thomas Forane Church and also at Kulathuvayal St. George’s Church and as acting vicar at Valook (Mariagiri) St. Mary’s Church and Pathirikode St. Sebastian’s Church. From 2011 to 2015 he committed in his service at Kalyan Diocese along with Pastoral Ministry. He was also served as the Animator of COD at Karuvarakundu.
Now he is holding the responsibilities of vicar at Kallurutty St.Thomas Church and Assistant Director of COD.

Status Of COD
COD enjoys Consultive status with many agencies including Governmental and Non-Governmental agencies. It act as a nodal as well as implementing agency for several schemes of national and international agencies. COD is member of NGO network, Kerala Social Service Forum.
